BIRTHDAY PARTIES

WEEKEND AND HOLIDAY DATES AVAILABLE

IF YOUR CHILD ENJOYS OUR FOREST SCHOOL SESSIONS , IS A NATURE LOVER, OR YOU'RE JUST LOOKING FOR A PARTY OPTION WITH A DIFFERENCE - THEN WHY NOT BOOK ONE OF OUR FOREST SCHOOL STYLE PARTIES?!

Each of our party options are suitable for 2-12 year olds and can be adapted to suit any age from walking-99!

We provide a minimum of two staff including a fully qualified Forest School Leader, exclusive use of the Wilderness Forest School site (complete with bunting), printable invitations, craft and/or tool activities.

We start at our log circle where we introduce ourselves, discuss safety precautions and activity options; ending back in our log circle where we sing Happy Birthday before saying good bye (a great opportunity to blow out candles on a cake before popping slices of it into party bags, if that's what you'd like).

Just like our termly Forest School sessions, the main time on site is free-play using our equipment (ropes, hammocks, dens, swings, mud kitchen, etc) or exploring craft/activity options; we can certainly include storytelling, songs and games depending on age ranges and interests - we will discuss this upon booking to see what works best for the group.

With all party options you are welcome to bring your own cake or other food/drink, providing they are nut-free and non-alcoholic. We can discuss your plans for this - whether you'd like an open buffet throughout or a "lunch break" at a certain point. Of course, some would rather not include food at all, which is also absolutely fine.

Themed parties (such as potions, dinosaurs, The Gruffalo, bugs, etc) can usually be accommodated if you have a specific idea in mind; if not, it will be a general nature-based party in a forest school style. Some themes may incur a further charge depending on the materials required.

We ask for a minimum of 2 responsible adults from the booking to stay on site for the duration of the party, of course, more are welcome too. You can bring camping chairs / picnic blankets / umbrellas etc with you to make any guests more comfortable.

TO ENSURE YOU HAVE FULL FLEXIBILITY ON CONTENT AND COST, OUR PARTY PACKAGES ARE BROKEN DOWN INTO THREE STARTING PRICES, BASED ON THE DURATION, AND YOU CAN THEN ADD OPTIONAL EXTRAS.

2 HOUR PARTY

£200

A party session as described above, for up to 12 children, running for 2 hours. A lovely option for younger children or those not wanting to include food.

3 HOUR PARTY

£260

A party session as described above, for up to 12 children, running for 3 hours. A great choice for older children or those wanting to include extra games / activities.

ADDITIONAL CHILDREN

£7 per child

You can have up to 20 children as part of your party celebrations. The party packages include up to 12 children, so you can add a further 8 children providing the two designated adults for the booking are happy to get stuck in at times.

FIRE-COOKED DRINK & SNACK

£2.50 per child

Add a cosy fire and warming snack.
Snack options include roasted bananas (with/without chocolate), toasted apple (with/without cinnamon sugar), or marshmallow s'mores.
drink options include Hot Chocolate or apple juice (warm or cold).
Allergy-free / vegan options available.

FACE PAINT / BIO-GLITTER

£1 per child

Add some camo stripes or festival glitter to your party - we can apply these cosmetic grade items to the hands/cheeks of children over 3 years old.

PARTY BAGS

from £4 per child

£4 party bags include: a kraft paper bag with a personalised stick pencil, a packet of wildflower seeds, and a tube of smarties. For an additional £2 per child we can provide cotton tote bags that the children can decorate through the process of Hapazome, instead of the paper bags. Other party favours / birthday can be added at further cost, such as fizzing potion powder, playdough, nature shaped crayons, personalised chocolate bars, wooden spinners, wooden bird whistles, Forest School t shirt, Forest School camping mugs, paint your own flower pot set, bug hunting kit, or mini flower press, etc.
